Christmas Gifts for the children of the 5 Primary Schools in the Valley

Once again this year the Garw Valley Community Council delivered Christmas gifts to each child who attends one of the five primary schools in the area – Bettws, Blaengarw, Calon y Cymoedd, Ffaldau and Tynyrheol.   This year we gave each child a gift bag containing a pair of multi-coloured gloves and a box of 12 colouring pencils.  Councillor Chris Lloyd had the unenviable task of filling 720 gift bags, but with the help of some local volunteers got the task done.
